Fullstack Job: F-T Full Stack Web Developer, work remotely in Can

Looking for a Mid-Level Web Developer to work, remotely from home, with our development team on full stack web development including frontend customizations and backend application logic. If hired, you’d work with the design and development team and clients on a variety of projects.

Development responsibilities would include:

• Custom work on ecommerce and content platforms (Shopify, LightSpeed eCom/Retail, Vend, Ecwid, SeoShop) or proprietary systems.
• Custom builds of business process applications integrating with 3rd party APIs
• Custom browser extensions in Chrome and Firefox
• Test and review your work (Self QA)
• Communicate with clients to make sure the what you’re implementing meets their expectations
• Identify when a client’s request is outside the bounds of the original project scope

You'll be responsible for the front-end development and maintenance of our web properties. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience developing websites in one or more ecommerce platforms and one or more content management systems. Quick learner, ability to communicate with the less-than computer literate and a love of all things web. Requirements:

5-8+ years of experience working with…

• An understanding of best SEO practices
• Ability to communicate effectively with others, including non-programmers

Several years experience with…

• PhpUnit
• Vue, NuxtJS, Alpine
• Livewire
• Redis
• Docker/Sail for local development

Non-Technical Requirements:

• Self starter, organized and good with multi-tasking when necessary
• Access to high-speed internet and a private space to work from (remotely)
• Must be able to work at least 6 hours per day, Mon-Fri between 8am and 8pm EST. More flexible schedule can be discussed once on-boarded and working more independently.
• Must be located in Canada, and be fluent in English
• Attention to detail
• Clear and prompt communication (response time max < 24hrs during work week)
